Experience is not required. A significant number of our companions started with none. What matters more is whether you’re comfortable with the work itself and able to hold a boundary.

That’s a wide spread, and we’d rather explain it than let you guess. Where you land depends on three things almost entirely: how many hours you make yourself available, how consistent you are from week to week, and whether you take bookings at peak times. Companions earning at the upper end are working substantial hours and treating this as a full-time commitment. Companions taking a few bookings around study, family or another job sit lower in the range – and that is a completely reasonable way to do this work.

We won’t tell you the top of that range is typical, because it isn’t. It’s achievable, and some of our companions reach it consistently, but availability and reliability are what get you there. Be sceptical of any agency that quotes you a high figure without explaining what it takes to earn it.
