Plans Changed? How Cancellations and Reschedules Work
Life doesn't always cooperate with your plans. A meeting runs late, a flight shifts, something comes up — and suddenly the booking you'd arranged needs to move or come off the calendar entirely. It happens more than you'd think, and it's genuinely no drama.
What causes stress is uncertainty: not knowing what happens to your deposit, whether you can move things, or how much notice is fair. So here's a clear explanation of how it all works.

Life Happens — It's Fine
First, relax. Needing to reschedule or cancel occasionally is completely normal, and no reputable agency will make you feel awkward about it. Plans change; everyone understands that.
What matters is simply letting us know as early as you reasonably can. A quick, courteous message the moment you know is worth far more than leaving it to the last minute, and it keeps everything easy on both sides.
How to Reschedule
Rescheduling is usually the smoothest option of all. If you still want the booking but the timing no longer works, just get in touch and we'll find a new slot that suits.
Where possible, any deposit you've paid can typically carry across to the new date, so you're moving the booking rather than starting again. The more notice you give, the more likely it is your preferred companion will be free at the new time, so a heads-up early is always your friend.
How Cancellations Work
If you need to cancel outright, notice is the key factor. Cancel with reasonable notice and it's straightforward. Cancel at the last minute and a deposit may be retained, simply because a late cancellation means a companion has held time she can no longer fill.
The specifics are set out in our refund policy, which explains clearly how deposits and notice are handled. None of it is designed to catch you out — it's there so both sides know where they stand, with no surprises.
Short Notice and Same-Day Changes
Sometimes there's simply no warning, and you have to move things on the day. That's not ideal, but it's manageable — let us know as soon as you can and we'll do what we reasonably can to help.
It's also worth knowing that the same flexibility works in your favour when plans open up rather than close down. Just as bookings can change at the last minute, they can be arranged at short notice too, so a freed-up evening is easy to fill.
Doing It Courteously
How you handle a change says a lot about you as a client. A prompt, polite message — rather than a no-show or a silent disappearance — is the mark of someone worth accommodating, and it's remembered.
That small courtesy costs nothing and counts for a lot. Clients who reschedule gracefully stay firmly in the good books and remain the kind of valued regular we'll always bend over backwards for. Everything, of course, is handled discreetly — a change of plan is nobody's business but yours.
No Stress, Just Let Us Know
Changing a booking isn't a problem — it's a normal part of arranging your time around a busy life. Give notice when you can, keep it courteous, and it's handled fairly every time. If you need to move or arrange a booking, just get in touch, browse our Brisbane companions for a new time, or explore our services — we'll make it easy.
